11 Month New Home, Warranty Inspection

Most Alberta New Home Warranty programs require an 11 month home inspection so that you can identify all the issues in your home to be CORRECTED BY THE BUILDER. You can either trust the builders people to preform their walk around inspection, do the inspection yourself, or hire an independent licensed professional Home Inspector to thoroughly check your home. You don't want to pay for repairs that should of been covered by the builder within the first year warranty period!

If you do not give the builder a list in writing before the 12 month deadline then they do not have to honor your warranty! A Home Inspector will provide you a detailed report that you can use to provide the builder.
